Project Installation Manager

Lead and coordinate the installation of customer projects, focusing on offshore cable installation. Support the Project Installation Manager by handling subcontractors, interfacing with clients and internal stakeholders, and delivering the installation documentation package from startup to closure. Review engineering reports and develop method statements and RFPs for subcontractors; manage installation deliverables in the Document List from timing and budget perspectives; contribute to reporting; ensure adherence to project execution best practices and NKT policies; handle ad hoc project needs and respond to questions from project management. Manage system engineering requirements for the installation contract, capture and share lessons learned, support claims and procurement management, and provide coverage for the Project Installation Manager during holidays and peak times. Some travel to subcontractors, installation sites, and customer visits is included. The ideal candidate will be a communicative, self-driven project manager with a high technical interest, excellent negotiation skills, and the ability to manage installations of varying sizes. Requires a BSc (preferably MSc) in Engineering or equivalent experience, experience in offshore cable installation, and proficiency in English (German or Dutch beneficial). PM training and/or courses are meritorious.
