Job Summary
Inspect and monitor transportation infrastructure, roadway, bridge, municipal, commercial, and private construction projects to ensure conformance with contract plans, specifications, codes, and safety requirements. Serve as the owner's field representative, interpret plans and specifications, monitor scope/schedule/budget, verify contractor pay requests, provide regular progress reports, and participate in project meetings. Maintain documentation and ensure quality construction through coordination with contractors and project team.
Required Qualifications
- A minimum of one to two years of related construction work, skill, knowledge, OR experience
- knowledge of the materials, methods, and the tools involved in the construction of buildings, bridges, or other structures such as highways and roads
