Job Summary
Project Information and Digital Lead (Part-time telework) leads planning and implementation of ICT and digital technologies for Bechtel projects in Australia, coordinating IT infrastructure, networks, and data interfaces with automation teams; works with project teams and global I&D leadership to deploy ICT solutions, manage budgets/schedules, and ensure governance; requires travel to project jobsites, regular in-person attendance with a three-day-per-week in-office expectation, and strong leadership, mentoring, budgeting, and cross-functional collaboration; familiarity with desktop/server computing, cloud, wired/wireless networks, construction-site technology, data integration, and AI methods; education in a STEM field with 8+ years (Level 1) or 10+ years (Level 2) of experience, plus ability to communicate complex technical concepts to diverse audiences; safety-focused and customer-relations oriented.
Required Qualifications
- Level 1 or Level 2 requirements: 8+ years or 10+ years in STEM-related field and/or specialised IT/Engineering courses; recognised degree in STEM-related field; willingness to travel to project jobsite; ability to lead and manage budget, scope changes, and deliver IT/digital plans; strong communication and stakeholder-management skills; knowledge of desktop/server computing, cloud, networks, and construction site technology; ability to translate technical information for broad audiences; safety focus and customer-relations ability
