Job Summary
Communicate with agencies, management, staff, and subcontractors to define scope and schedule for projects. Conduct high-level technical surveys and oversight of subcontractors, documenting field activities accurately and reviewing field findings. Interpret laboratory data and reports to prepare technical memorandums, summary reports, and other client deliverables. Perform technical peer-reviews on reports and provide effective mentoring to junior staff. This role requires overnight travel, a valid driver's license, and Indiana asbestos licensing, with job-specific training available. As part of the IH Community of Practice, you collaborate with senior technical experts and project managers in multidisciplinary environmental teams.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in science
- 15+ years in consulting or professional services
- Knowledge of OSHA, EPA, and state regulations related to asbestos and mold
- OSHA 40-hour HAZWOPER certification
- RCRA/DOT Hazardous Waste Shipping Training
- Indiana asbestos licensing
- Valid driver's license
- Overnight travel
