Job Summary
Design and refine assembly lines, develop standard work procedures, and define tooling requirements to optimize production flow and ergonomics. Utilize simulation tools like Timer Pro and Flex Sim to analyze processes during development and post-launch. Collaborate with design and operations teams to execute assembly line design, resolve manufacturing issues, and drive continuous improvement using global process capability data. Apply Design for Manufacturing and Assembly concepts to ensure new products launch smoothly and scale effectively.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering or related field
- Minimum cumulative GPA of 3.00 for each degree earned
- 0-3 years' experience in a related field
- You are authorized to work in the U.S. and will not require Lutron to sponsor you for any work visa, such as an H-1B, either immediately or at any time in the future. Lutron does not offer work visa sponsorship for this position.
- Willingness and ability to work on-site 5 days per week
- Willingness to travel up to 10 – 20% of the time for inter-office collaboration, international production line bring-up, etc.
