Job Summary
Lead end-to-end delivery of civil and building projects, ensuring works are completed on time, within budget, and to required quality and safety standards. Coordinate with architects, engineers, and consultants to finalize designs, prepare execution plans, and manage day-to-day site activities for residential, commercial, and mixed-use developments. Serve as the primary contact for all stakeholders, overseeing contractors, vendors, and authorities while monitoring budgets, timelines, and resources. Proactively identify technical and commercial risks, implement mitigation measures, and ensure full compliance with regulations and company policies. Lead and mentor a team of engineers and supervisors, conduct site inspections, and manage final testing and handover processes. Based primarily on-site with frequent travel, this role supports the organization's growth in construction and project delivery.
Required Qualifications
- Degree in Civil Engineering or related discipline
- Minimum 7 years' relevant experience in civil / building projects
- At least 3 years in a project management or senior engineering role
- Proven track record managing medium to large residential, commercial or mixed-use developments
- Strong knowledge of construction methods, civil / structural engineering principles and project management practices
- Proficient in common engineering and project tools (e.g. AutoCAD, Revit, Civil 3D, MS Project or equivalent)
- Familiar with applicable building codes, authority requirements, safety and environmental regulations
- Strong leadership, people management and stakeholder management skills
- Clear and confident communication, with good negotiation skills
- Hands-on problem-solver who can make decisions under pressure
- Strong planning, organisation and time-management abilities
- Based primarily on-site and in the office, depending on project stage
- Frequent site presence and occasional travel for meetings with clients, consultants and other stakeholders
Desired Qualifications
- Master's degree
- Professional certification (e.g. PE, PMP or equivalent)
