Job Summary
Project Hydrogeologist/Scientist responsible for constructing numerical fate and transport models (MODFLOW/MT3DMS/MODPATH) to characterize groundwater flow patterns and mobile constituent transport; evaluating complex geologic and hydrogeologic systems; assisting in the design and optimization of monitoring programs and engineered remedial systems including landfills, drainage channels, stability features, and groundwater remediation; preparing and performing technical reviews of reports on groundwater modeling, monitoring, site characterization, risk assessment, permit applications, and remediation; producing correspondence and technical documents; utilizing office automation (GIS, email, word processing, spreadsheets) to create outputs; coordinating with leadership on business development, project management, and proposal writing; and willingness to travel for field work in the Southeast market area.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in hydrogeology, geology, hydrology, environmental science, engineering (environmental, civil, hydraulic, agricultural or water resource engineering), or related field. Master’s degree or Doctorate degree greatly preferred.
