Project Geotechnical Engineer responsible for coordinating subsurface exploration programs, geotechnical analyses, development of conceptual and numerical models, technical report writing, and project management support. Lead or coordinate subsurface exploration and construction observation; train junior staff; perform analyses including liquefaction, dynamic soil-structure interaction, and seismic slope stability; develop project deliverables (calculations, figures, tables) and assist with large reports; support budgeting, field report reviews, and schedule coordination; travel for fieldwork as needed; requires Bachelor’s degree (Master’s preferred) and a P.E. license, with 4+ years of experience. Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering required
- Master’s degree in Geotechnical Engineering preferred
- 4+ years of related professional experience required
- P.E. license required
- Intermediate-level understanding of geotechnical software and related tools (FLAC, PLAXIS, MathCAD)
- Experience with static and dynamic analyses, liquefaction evaluation, seismic slope stability, nonlinear deformation modeling
- Ability to travel for short-term and long-term assignments
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
