Project Financial Controller

Job Summary
Manage project budget setup, cost coding, and ongoing cost tracking while preparing forecasts, cash flow projections, and reports to monitor performance variances. Partner with Project Managers and Superintendents to align financials with field progress, support subcontractor financials including pay applications, and track change orders for accurate cost impact reporting. Assist with month-end close processes, ensure compliance with internal standards, and coordinate with corporate finance teams. This full-time role begins fully on-site before transitioning to a hybrid schedule, offering per diem, performance bonuses, and health insurance. Previous data center project experience is required.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Construction Management, or related field
- 5+ years of experience in construction cost control, project accounting, or project controls
- Experience supporting large-scale construction projects (data center or mission-critical preferred)
- Familiarity with construction contracts, billing, and cost structures
- Experience with systems such as Procore, SAP, Oracle, or similar
- Strong Excel and analytical skills
- Ability to work on-site as required, especially during initial project phase
