Job Summary
Conduct monthly financial reviews of assigned multi-country projects, performing budget monitoring, variance analysis, and revenue assessment to identify risks and drive accurate budget revisions. Partner with Project Managers to validate backlog phasing, monitor performance metrics, and support client meetings with financial insights. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve system issues, ensure compliance with revenue recognition principles, and implement corrective actions for profitability. Provide financial coaching to Project Managers, mentor new team members, and contribute to global process improvement initiatives. Work independently within a fast-paced environment, utilizing advanced Excel skills and familiarity with PeopleSoft modules to enhance project financial management excellence.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, Economics, or a related discipline
- Minimum 3 years of experience in Accounting, Project Finance, Financial Analysis, or a related financial role
- Strong understanding of project financial management, including budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis, backlog management, cash flow monitoring, and revenue recognition
- Experience identifying financial risks and implementing corrective actions to improve project performance
- Familiarity with PeopleSoft Project modules or equivalent project finance systems
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and numerical skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to build effective relationships across Finance, Project Management, and client teams
- Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively within a global, cross-functional environment

- Previous experience partnering directly with Project Managers and client-facing teams
- Exposure to process improvement initiatives, transformation projects, or global finance programs
