Job Summary
Structure financing tranches and prepare financial models for renewable energy projects in the US and Canada, focusing on solar and battery energy storage systems. Analyze project profitability under various financing structures including tax equity and hybrid models to optimize offtake plans and closing documents. Collaborate with finance and business teams in New Jersey, Seoul, and various US states throughout the project lifecycle. Stay current on evolving regulatory environments and financing terms in the sector. Requires a bachelor's degree and five years of experience with full financial closing knowledge in solar or BESS. Bilingual English/Korean is a plus. Available to relocate to Houston within one to two years.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelors degree with strong academic record from a reputable undergraduate program
- Minimum 5 years' working experience of project financing in Solar/BESS sectors in US
- Full financial closing experience
- Knowledge of tax equity financing
- Knowledge of hybrid financing (combination of tax equity and tax credit sales)
- Knowledge of commercial project loan
- Excellent skills to develop and handle bankable financial model in Solar/BESS sectors in US
- Ability to reflect various financing structures in the market
- No restriction in business travel in US/Canada
