Job Summary
Maintain detailed project budgets, track actual costs versus approved limits, and validate timesheet data to ensure accurate labor cost allocation. Monitor gross margin, contribution margin, and billable utilization while identifying budget variances for leadership review. Support revenue forecasting, percentage-of-completion tracking, and rolling financial projections using standardized templates. Prepare monthly project financial dashboards, conduct variance analysis, and maintain a centralized financial repository. Ensure strict adherence to financial governance processes and improve data accuracy in tracking systems.
Required Qualifications
- 3–5 years experience in Project finance
- 3–5 years experience in FP&A
- 3–5 years experience in Financial analysis in IT services / consulting
- Strong Excel skills (advanced formulas, pivot tables, financial modeling)
- Strong numerical accuracy and attention to detail
- Basic understanding of consulting metrics (utilization, margins)
- Ability to work independently with structured guidance
Desired Qualifications
- Experience in IT consulting / SAP services organization
- Understanding of revenue recognition concepts (POC method)
- Exposure to resource planning and cost allocation
