Project Finance Analyst

Job Summary

Prepare monthly financial reports, analyze results, and maintain financial dashboards for company projects. Manage journal entries, reconcile accounts for monthly or annual closing, and lead project forecast and financial reviews to validate operational accuracy. Support operations with timely financial projections and provide assistance for AP, AR, and job costing. Ensure accurate statutory reporting and remittances to CRA, GST, PST, unions, and WorkSafeBC, while managing external audits. Identify cost reduction opportunities and maintain accounting policies and procedures.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or relevant education
  • CPA designation or similar designation
  • Previous experience in the construction sector
  • Proficiency in Dynamics 365 Business Central
  • Proficiency in PowerBI
  • Proficiency in Procore
  • Proficiency in HCSS Suite of Software
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office
  • Effective communication skills with the ability to present financial statements in logical plain language
  • Strong cost accounting skills
  • Strong budgeting skills
  • Strong financial reporting skills
  • Strong problem solving skills
  • Meticulous attention to detail
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced entrepreneurial environment
