Job Summary
Project Finance Analyst III responsible for executing accounting, planning, estimating, tracking, budgeting, and reporting across a portfolio of Federal contracts and task orders. Duties include reviews and analysis of government contracts, setting up projects in the accounting system, coordinating with project teams to deliver financial deliverables, processing revenue recognition and subcontract accruals, providing cost and schedule updates, performing Estimates at Completion (EACs), and advising management on financial matters. The role interfaces with Corporate Finance, Contracts, Pricing, Procurement, and subsidiary management, supports management reviews and proposal preparation, and works in both virtual and office team environments. Required qualifications include a Bachelor’s degree and at least 6 years in project accounting, GAAP knowledge, experience with contractor-type contracts, and proficiency with Deltek CostPoint and Excel; the role requires the ability to obtain a federal security clearance.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 6 Years in Project Accounting and Control or Related Accounting Field
- Bachelor’s degree in business administration, program management, accounting, or an appropriate related discipline
- Comprehensive understanding of GAAP
- Experience with multiple contract types: FFP, FPLOE, T&M and hybrid contracts
- Experience with Deltek CostPoint preferred
- Experience with Microsoft Office Suites, particularly Excel
- Ability to obtain a federal security clearance
