Project/Field Engineer

Job Summary
Coordinate necessary needs and address conflicts between trade partners, architects, and subcontractors to ensure smooth project execution. Gather lead times for materials, coordinate deliveries with site superintendents, and review submittals before sending them to the Architect. Generate Requests for Information (RFIs) to the design team, distribute updated plans and specifications, and assist with obtaining permits. Create and distribute punch lists, compile owner and operations manuals, and import Revit and Navisworks files into Revizto. Assist in developing the Project Specific QA/QC plan and maintain comprehensive project documentation. Requires a BS degree in Engineering or Construction Management with 2-4 years of experience, proficiency in Microsoft Office and Revit, and the ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
Required Qualifications
- 4 year B.S. degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Business Management or 2 year A.S. degree in Construction management
- 2 -4 years full time work experience
- Strong technology skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word
- Proficiency in Outlook
- Proficiency in Excel
- Proficiency in Bluebeam
- Ability to read and understand all project documents (plans, specifications, etc)
- Professionally communicate with all levels of personnel within the organization and with external clients and partners
- Ability to collaborate as a team and work independently as needed
- Ability to work in a fast paced, deadline driven environment while maintaining a high level of accuracy and extreme attention to detail
- Must be able to lift 50 lbs
