Job Summary
Provide twice monthly strength-based coaching to up to 17 affiliated providers as they implement a mixed-age curriculum. Document all coaching sessions and assist providers in gathering observations and entering child assessment data for lesson planning. Review and adapt curriculum supports to foster hands-on, developmentally appropriate interactions. Guide providers on implementing an evidence-based curriculum for mixed-age settings and coordinate professional learning days with the Education Director. Participate in network staff meetings to connect on individual providers and families, while assisting with outreach, enrollment, and administrative tasks. This role supports the Sunset Park Family Child Care Network's mission to strengthen early learning skills and build resilience for birth-4 programs within the FCC Education Department.
Required Qualifications
- BA/BS in Early Childhood or Infant/Toddler studies
- 2 years' experience teaching children under six years old
- Must be able to effectively communicate with all levels of the organization
Desired Qualifications
- 3 years' experience teaching children under six years old
- Willingness to travel within FCC Network catchment area
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Ability to work as a team member
