Job Summary
Lead and manage HVAC/mechanical construction projects from bid through completion by coordinating multi-department staff, developing estimates and proposals, reviewing contracts, and guiding project teams. Establish budgets, monitor costs, and communicate strategies and contract changes to clients and stakeholders. Represent the company professionally, maintain client and vendor relationships, and ensure compliance with relevant standards. Directly supervise project engineers, project coordinators, and supervisory personnel; drive risk management, pre-construction planning, and successful execution of projects across diverse sectors. Requires a strong track record in project management, sales support, and ability to operate autonomously within a fast-paced environment.
Required Qualifications
- 10+ years of experience in estimating, design and management of HVAC projects from $50,000 to $25+ million
- To operate independently and autonomously, and yet possess the discretionary judgment to know when it's appropriate to consult with others in the organization
- Experienced in successfully developing new business
- Demonstrated ability to multitask
- Strong interpersonal and project management abilities, employing strong organizational skills to respond successfully to a high volume of issues
- BS in Mechanical Engineering or Construction Management preferred, but not required
- Current licensed PE preferred, but not required
