Job Summary
Own the medical construction sales pipeline from pursuit through close, leading proposals, RFQ responses, and client presentations for MOBs, ASCs, and behavioral health facilities across the Phoenix metro area. Cultivate relationships with health systems, physician groups, and REITs while leveraging LGE's integrated design-build model to drive revenue and margin. Lead multiple active healthcare projects simultaneously, ensuring adherence to infection control, schedule, and budget standards through direct oversight of design coordination, permitting, and turnover. Manage project budgets, cost forecasting, and gross margin performance while mentoring a team of Project Managers and Superintendents. Requires 10+ years in commercial construction with 5+ in healthcare; reports to Regional Vice President with 15–25% regional travel.
Required Qualifications
- 10+ years in commercial construction
- at least 5 years in healthcare or medical projects
- Demonstrated success managing MOBs, ASCs, behavioral health, urgent care, and specialty outpatient facilities
- Experience in occupied/phased environments
- Established relationships with Phoenix-area health systems, physician groups, healthcare developers, and/or MOB REITs
- Strong knowledge of ICRA protocols
- Specialized MEP coordination
- Infection control construction
- Code compliance
- Phased delivery in clinical environments
- Demonstrated ability to originate and close construction contracts
- Comfortable leading client meetings
- Clinical stakeholder presentations
- Negotiations
- Active ASHE, BOMA Healthcare, or equivalent healthcare construction network engagement
- Ability to lead multiple project teams concurrently
- Experience building and growing a team
- Business acumen to own pursuit strategy
