Job Summary

Project Executive responsible for the oversight of multiple suburban and multifamily construction projects within Lifestyle Communities’ portfolio, guiding budgets, schedules, and project outcomes from inception to completion. Leads and mentors site-level project management teams, drives forecast and cost reporting, manages subcontractor onboarding and bid analysis, coordinates plan approvals and permitting, and ensures adherence to quality, safety, and budget targets while partnering with Development to align with LC’s leadership principles. Requires experience managing large-scale developments, strong financial acumen, license management across multiple states, and ability to travel across markets. Location-focused duties center on Nashville, TN with flexibility for other markets; role emphasizes leadership, cost control, risk management, and cross-functional collaboration.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in construction with extensive real estate multi-family and mixed-use development
  • Proven track record managing large-scale developments (25-100+ acres)
  • Experience in budgeting, bid awards, contract review, bonding, lien law, environmental regulation, change order review, and negotiation (7+ years)
  • General Contractor license management and ability to procure licenses in states where company operates (e.g., SC, NC, TN, OH, TX, CO, FL)
  • Strong leadership, mentoring, and team-development skills
  • Experience with permits and plan approvals across multiple markets
  • Familiarity with GIS, CAD, ProCore, Excel, and project management software
  • Ability to travel to designated markets and operate across multiple sites
  • Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering, construction management (preferred)
  • Demonstrated ability to manage budgets, schedules, and quality across complex construction projects
  • Excellent verbal and written communication and negotiation skills
  • Safety policy compliance and field-team oversight
