Job Summary
Project Executive leads multi-project efforts for a Seattle-based commercial general contractor, focusing on profitability, leadership of project teams, and strategic development of new opportunities. Responsibilities include identifying clients and leads, executing opportunity strategies, leading negotiated sales and bid/proposal processes, coordinating estimating budgets, maintaining strong client/architect/engineer relationships, coordinating with vendors and design teams, guiding project teams to successful outcomes, fostering a safety culture, participating in recruitment and mentoring, establishing project objectives and schedules, overseeing schedule updates and delays, directing multiple projects through development stages, and ensuring adherence to contract terms, schedules, and safety standards. Requires a Bachelor’s Degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or equivalent experience, 10+ years of commercial construction experience, 5+ years of large shell & core project experience, BIM proficiency, strong project-management and sales experience, and advanced knowledge of industry software (MS Office; Primavera P6 or MS Project). Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or equivalent experience
- 10+ years of commercial construction experience preferred
- 5+ years of large shell & core project experience
- Extensive experience with regulatory agencies throughout the construction process
- Working knowledge of BIM
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and project management software; Primavera (P6) or Microsoft Project preferred
- Experience in business development and sales
