Job Summary
Lead project executive role in Greater Los Angeles focusing on profitability, leadership of project teams, and delivery of multiple construction projects from preconstruction through close-out. Responsibilities include identifying and pursuing new project opportunities, managing negotiated sales processes (differentiation, proposals, interviews), overseeing all bids with the estimating team, maintaining strong client/architect/engineer relationships, coordinating with vendors and subcontractors, and ensuring safety culture and accountability on all projects. Establish project objectives, schedules, and performance standards; monitor cost control, change management, and contract terms; supervise staffing needs and participate in recruitment; mentor team members and contribute to initiatives such as succession planning. Requires leadership experience, excellent communication, and ability to navigate regulatory processes, with hands-on knowledge of BIM and project management software (e.g., Primavera P6 or MS Project). The role emphasizes business development, client satisfaction, and delivering projects within contractual duration while fostering company growth and operational excellence.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or equivalent experience
- 10+ years of commercial construction experience preferred
- 5+ years of large commercial construction project experience
- Extensive experience and knowledge working with regulatory agencies throughout the critical construction process
- Working knowledge of BIM
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and project management software; Primavera (P6) or Microsoft Project preferred
- Experience in business development and sales
