Job Summary
Establish and maintain successful customer and community relationships by conducting key service visits from pre-construction to close-out. Preview proposals, participate in the Request for Proposal process, and act as the primary customer contact for assigned projects. Provide oversight and accountability for large projects while managing contract administration, including terms, change requests, and invoices. Maintain project budgets, costs, and pricing for profitable delivery, and offer leadership, mentorship, and performance management for the project team. Support business development initiatives to assist the operating group in winning work. This role requires 12+ years of construction management experience overseeing projects over $20M, with 50-75% travel. Base pay ranges from $194,500 to $291,800.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Construction, Civil, or Architectural Engineering or Construction Management, or equivalent field
- Minimum 12 years prior experience in construction management overseeing large projects ($20M+)
- Proven ability to fulfill development to closeout responsibilities for multiple, complex projects
- Detail orientation sufficient to organize and manage multiple project tasks
- Possess basic understanding of construction law and generally accepted business practices
- Microsoft Office, project, and pertinent web application skills at an intermediate level
- Proven positive and professional attitude, and strong customer service skills
- Ability to interpret and communicate Mortenson policies

- Current driver's license
