Job Summary
Drive division profitability through effective project execution of multiple sizable electrical projects while managing and developing project teams. Review contractual requirements, develop technical and schedule goals, and oversee procurement, capacity planning, and third-party construction oversight. Interact with customers to validate expectations, coordinate with accounting and legal counsel for invoicing, change orders, and contract disputes, and proactively communicate risks and successes. Balance internal and external resource loading and implement continuous improvement initiatives based on lesson learned activities.
Required Qualifications
- 10+ years project management experience in electrical construction overseeing a large portfolio and team
- Understand engineering in electric power
- Field experience coordinating with construction management
- Extensive knowledge of project scheduling, bids, take-offs, change orders, and contracts
- Demonstrated ability to develop relationships and assist in winning projects
- Exceptional analytical, motivational, and leadership skills
Desired Qualifications
- Construction Management, Electrical Engineering or related industry degree preferred
- Journeyman or Master Electrician's license a plus
