Job Summary
Data Center Construction Project Executive needed to lead Owner’s Rep efforts for multi-site brownfield data center projects. Responsibilities include managing day-to-day activities with contractors and vendors, overseeing a team of project managers and superintendents, controlling budgets ($50M-$500M+), creating and managing project schedules, handling change orders, responding to RFPs, delivering Built-to-Suit projects with a focus on value-engineering, ensuring adherence to Company Design Standards, and maintaining logs and reporting. Requires strong leadership, client management, and extensive experience in data center construction, with travel 25-40% and open to diverse projects nationwide.
Required Qualifications
- Experience managing Data Center Construction Projects as an Owner or as a General Contractor / GC / Trade
- Previous experience managing a diverse team of high level construction project managers on multi-million dollar projects
- Minimum of 8-15+ years relevant experience in the Data Center Construction Industry data center / critical facilities MEP construction experience
- Client Facing /Client relationship / Client Management skills
- PMP Certification a plus
- Must be familiar with the design process of building systems for data center and mission critical projects
- Solid Construction Project Management experience
- Effective Communicator – emails, phone and face to face
- Open to travel 25-40%
- Solid Admin skills: such as email, internet, and Microsoft products
