Job Summary
Manage several complex projects simultaneously across commercial, industrial, and water/wastewater facilities in the Southwest, overseeing preconstruction through final completion. Communicate with Vice Presidents of Operations and Field Operations, ensuring project team success, safety, quality, schedule, and profitability. Execute project manager responsibilities, lead business development including client relationships and proposal negotiations, and establish working relationships with owners, engineers, and trade partners. Negotiate prime contract terms, subcontract agreements, and purchase orders while ensuring timely execution of change orders within signatory limits. Review cost models, estimates, and schedules to drive project success, champion the transition to construction, and mentor Project Managers for future leadership roles.
Required Qualifications
- Ability to assume responsibility, interface and effectively communicate with others
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.)
- Positive and teachable attitude
- Possesses excellent organizational, verbal, written and presentation skills
- Experience leading project teams and successfully achieving project goals
- Bachelor's Degree in Construction Management or Engineering
- Minimum of five (5) years of relative construction experience as a Project Manager, General Superintendent or similar
- Extensive relative construction experience
