Job Summary
Lead day-to-day operations for construction, project management, and project administration activities. Enhance client relationships through award-winning service and successful project completion while promoting positive subcontractor relations. Collaborate with estimating and purchasing to establish project profitability and guide multiple jobs through pre-construction, construction, and closeout phases. Mentor project teams, develop annual performance goals, and recruit, train, and supervise personnel. Formulate contract terms, review monthly status reports and estimates, approve subcontract bids, and ensure compliance with corporate policies. Identify risks to client operations and develop mitigation plans. Maintain positive cash flow, manage cost controls, and ensure accurate management reporting. Conduct jobsite walks to verify quality, eliminate safety hazards, and support successful project completion.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of a four-year degree program in construction management or construction science
- 10+ years of experience assisting or supervising construction projects of increasing complexity
- Ability to work under pressure and coordinate numerous activities and groups of people who need to cooperate to achieve maximum efficiency
- Capable of traversing over construction-type terrain when under development
- Moving through the construction site and the materials in place for use on the site
- Climbing ladders and temporary stairways
- Conducting visual inspections of quality of construction and materials being used in construction
- Conduct jobsite walks to ensure successful project completion
- Conduct jobsite walks to identify and eliminate safety hazards
