Job Summary
Manage all project team members across multiple geographies, champion safety and risk management, and mentor Project Managers and Superintendents for career growth. Lead overall project financials, communicate forecasts to leadership, and resolve open risk issues while ensuring accurate monthly reporting and meeting progress. Act as the primary client contact, negotiate vendor contracts, and build strong relationships with general contractors, subcontractors, and owners to drive customer satisfaction and project completion. Develop detailed schedules and workflows to meet energy savings goals, actively monitor change management, and ensure all company policies are implemented. Serve as a role model promoting ethical behaviors while seeking industry and community participation.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 8-10 years of verifiable experience in LARGE ($20M+) commercial construction
- 4-year degree in Construction Management (or related field)
- applicable field work experience in the Company core markets
- Demonstrates leadership skills
- willingness to address challenges, resolve issues, and motivate others while maintaining relationships
- Can manage complex situations that may include ambiguity and conflict resolution
- Manages outcomes by being resourceful and maintaining focus on safety, financial performance and client expectations
- Experience with pull planning and Last Planner System
- Proficient computer skills in Microsoft Office Suite
- project management software (Procore or similar)
- scheduling software (Primavera or similar)
- Effective verbal and written communication skills
- Detail-oriented
- willingness to tackle various ongoing projects in a fast-paced environment
- Versed in the industry and the Company's competitors
- Ability to multitask
- Ability to perform duties outside of the scope of work when necessary
- 5-10% of time will be spent traveling to job site(s)/office location
- Climbing stairs
- Remaining in a stationary position, often standing or sitting for prolonged periods
- Repeating motions that may include the wrists, hands and/or fingers
- Light work that includes adjusting and/or moving objects up to 20 pounds
Desired Qualifications
- Design build experience is a plus
