Job Summary
Manage all project team members across multiple geographies, champion safety and risk management, and mentor Project Managers and Superintendents for career growth. Lead project financials, communicate performance to leadership, and resolve risks and business issues by fully understanding contract terms. Develop subcontract and purchase order exhibits, create detailed schedule plans with the project team, and monitor change management and progress billings. Ensure accurate monthly reporting, verify financial forecasting, and act as the primary client contact to build strong relationships with general contractors, vendors, and owners. Account for project completion per energy and financial goals while assuring company policies are implemented.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 8-10 years of verifiable experience in LARGE ($20M+) commercial construction
- 4-year degree in Construction Management (or related field)
- applicable field work experience in the Company core markets
- Demonstrates leadership skills
- willingness to address challenges, resolve issues, and motivate others while maintaining relationships
- Can manage complex situations that may include ambiguity and conflict resolution
- Manages outcomes by being resourceful and maintaining focus on safety, financial performance and client expectations
- Experience with pull planning and Last Planner System
- Proficient computer skills in Microsoft Office Suite
- project management software (Procore or similar)
- scheduling software (Primavera or similar)
- Effective verbal and written communication skills
- Detail-oriented
- willingness to tackle various ongoing projects in a fast-paced environment
- Versed in the industry and the Company's competitors
- Ability to multitask
- perform duties outside of the scope of work when necessary
- 5-10% of time will be spent traveling to job site(s)/office location
- Climbing stairs
- Remaining in a stationary position, often standing or sitting for prolonged periods
- Repeating motions that may include the wrists, hands and/or fingers
- Light work that includes adjusting and/or moving objects up to 20 pounds
Desired Qualifications
- Design build experience is a plus
