Job Summary
Lead biotech and life-sciences project execution for a Seattle-based construction firm. Drive new project opportunities, oversee bids, and manage schedules and budgets from preconstruction through close-out. Foster strong client relationships with architects, engineers, and project teams; lead and support project teams, addressing challenges and mentoring staff. Require a Bachelor's Degree in Construction Management or Engineering, 10+ years in commercial construction, and 5+ years in Biotech/Life Science projects, with experience in cGMP facilities, clean rooms, or vivarium spaces. Strong knowledge of regulatory agencies, BIM software, and project-management tools (Primavera P6 or MS Project) and demonstrated business development and sales capabilities. Ensure project success by establishing objectives, policies, and performance standards while upholding safety and contractual terms.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or equivalent
- 10+ years of commercial construction experience
- 5+ years in Biotech/Life Science sector projects preferred
- Experience in cGMP manufacturing facilities, clean rooms, and/or vivarium space preferred
- Knowledge of regulatory agencies and BIM software required
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and project management software; familiarity with Primavera (P6) or Microsoft Project preferred
- Strong business development and sales experience
