Job Summary
The Project Evaluator role involves conducting a mid-term review of the Building Resilience in Eastern Neighbourhood (BREN II) project, assessing outcomes and impact according to OECD-DAC criteria. Candidates must possess a Master's degree and have at least 8 years of relevant experience, including conducting evaluations of complex projects. Responsibilities include documenting observable changes, assessing project coherence and effectiveness, and producing detailed reports with actionable recommendations. Familiarity with quantitative analysis software and local languages is a plus.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of a Master's degree in a relevant field (political science, sociology, international relations, conflict analysis, and management)
- At least 8 years of professional experience in relevant fields
Desired Qualifications
- Proven experience in conducting quantitative and qualitative research
- Experience in evaluating complex, multi-stakeholder projects in peacebuilding, media, conflict, and governance
- Knowledge of local socio-cultural, economic and political context
- Excellent report writing skills
- Facilitation skills in multi-cultural environments
- Ability to design and implement work ensuring safety, security, and do no harm principles
- Access to local interviewers/consultants
