Job Summary
Project Estimator responsible for estimating restoration projects using Xactimate, performing site inspections, documenting damages with measurements, notes, and photos, negotiating reconstruction costs with insurance carriers, and coordinating with the Project Manager to manage schedules and budgets. Willing to run simple projects to completion, handle errands such as permit runs and material pickups, and support field crews to ensure timely completion. Requires experience estimating water, fire, wind, and mold restoration projects, strong problem resolution, client relationship management, and effective communication with insurance representatives.
Required Qualifications
- 3+ years’ experience as an estimator
- strong construction background
- knowledge of both residential and commercial restoration experience
- Xactimate proficiency
- exceptional organizational and planning skills
- ability to communicate with Insurance Adjusters/Reps
- self-motivated, responsible and accountable
- strong communication and negotiation skills
