Job Summary
Join Haselden as a Multifamily Project Estimator, where you'll collaborate with clients, architects, and subcontractors to develop cost estimates for building projects. Key responsibilities include attending pre-proposal meetings, conducting site visits, preparing detailed estimates, and managing multiple preconstruction projects. You will use software such as Destini Estimator, Procore, and Revit for project analysis and support the Preconstruction Manager in creating final estimates for project budgets. A Bachelor's degree in Civil or Architectural Engineering or equivalent experience is required, along with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Required Qualifications
- B.S. degree in Civil or Architectural Engineering, Construction or 3 or more years related experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Ability to read, analyze, and interpret technical procedures or governmental regulations.
- Ability to write reports and business correspondence.
- Ability to effectively present technical information and respond to questions from managers, clients, and vendors.
- Ability to work with mathematical concepts such as probability and statistical inference.
- Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables.
- Basic computer skills including knowledge of spreadsheet programs and package estimating systems.
