Job Summary
Senior Estimator II for metals fabrication: responsible for defining scope, performing detailed material take-offs, evaluating vendor and subcontractor pricing, and supporting bid preparation from pre-bid through project turnover. Requires strong expertise in metals fabrication (structural steel, mezzanines, canopies, handrails) and proficiency with estimating software, Excel, and Bluebeam Revu. Will review project documents, conduct site visits, analyze drawings, and recommend labor/production adjustments to optimize bids; frequent collaboration with project managers and operations teams. Office-based with occasional site visits; ESOP participant; Alpharetta, GA.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 3 years in metals fabrication estimating
- Hands-on fabrication and installation experience (preferred)
- Relevant certifications in estimating or project management are a plus
