Job Summary
Lead a team and direct field equipment operations on large domestic and international projects; develop equipment plans, cost estimates, and operating budgets; direct strategic planning for optimal fleet utilization and training; support safety plans, lessons learned, and process improvement; participate in Six Sigma Process Improvement Program (PIP) and provide technical input for Work Process Procedures; supervise fleet usage administration and maintenance of service documents to standards; ensure quality of work and adherence to Zero Accident Philosophy; requires a bachelor's degree and 8-14 years of relevant experience in heavy equipment maintenance, with strong leadership, planning, budgeting, and safety compliance capabilities; industry experience in oil/gas, refinery, petrochemical, minerals processing, or power generation construction; proficient in MS Word, Excel, Visio, PowerPoint and related construction software; Bechtel total rewards and equal opportunity employment.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree
- 8-10 years of relevant experience or 12-14 years of relevant work experience
- Strong knowledge of heavy equipment systems and maintenance practices
- Experience leading maintenance teams and coordinating resources
- Skills in project planning, scheduling, and budget control
