Job Summary
Design and implement technical services for traditional assessment and remediation projects, performing field and office tasks while managing project support. Set up work plans, supervise field activities, and coordinate personnel to execute technically sound project protocols at exterior sites. Collect samples, record operational parameters, oversee subcontractors, and interpret data to develop reports documenting findings and remediation recommendations. Monitor task schedules, budgets, and client invoicing to ensure compliance with company standards. Mentor junior staff and support senior professionals in conceptual and detailed design work. This hybrid role requires proficiency in regulatory protocols, data analysis, and project management skills.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in relevant technical field
- Minimum of 3 years in the environmental consulting industry with demonstrated progression in technical site investigation / remediation and task management
- Proficient in designing field programs and managing projects and associated field activities – scheduling, coordination of tasks, budgeting, subcontractor negotiating/management
- Experience planning, coordinating, and managing the field implementation of common remedial technologies/approaches designed by Senior/Principal level professionals and supporting Senior/Principal level professionals with conceptual and detailed remedial design work
- Demonstrated task/project management skills
- Intermediate data evaluation and analytical skills
- Proficient written and verbal communication skills
- Experience with common technical protocols and regulatory requirements
- Ability and willingness to support the technical growth of staff level professionals based on direct hands-on interactions
- Ability to drive to different project sites
- Ability to physically move around outdoors in various terrains, in adverse weather conditions and occasionally for extended or irregular hours
- Ability to routinely lift and carry objects
- Ability to stand, walk, reach, bend, squat, kneel and twist
