Job Summary
As a Project Environmental Engineer or Scientist, you will plan, perform, and manage fieldwork for environmental data collection, oversee cleanup construction, and engage in multimedia compliance efforts. Responsibilities include evaluating environmental data, preparing cleanup documents, managing projects and tasks, mentoring junior staff, and communicating with clients and contractors. Required qualifications include a Bachelor's degree, PE license, 5 to 10 years of experience, and strong project management skills. Skills in proposal preparation, technical writing, and commitment to safety are essential.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in civil/environmental engineering or geology
- 5 to 10 years of environmental consulting or related professional experience
- PE license
- Ability to prepare proposals, work plans, and data reports
- Strong verbal and written communication and technical writing skills
- A valid driver’s license is required
- Commitment to safety, including working knowledge of State and Federal health and safety requirements
Desired Qualifications
- Master’s degree
- QSD or QSP certification
- QISP certification
- Familiarity with Local, State, and Federal permitting processes
- Strong project management and technical environmental skillset
