Project Engineering Manager - Water/Wastewater

Job Summary
Lead and coordinate multi-discipline engineering teams on major municipal water and wastewater projects, including advanced treatment facilities and conveyance systems. Supervise, coach, and develop engineers while managing budgets, schedules, and documentation to ensure successful delivery. Serve as a key technical resource for design and execution, conducting research, reviewing deliverables, and performing detailed engineering calculations. Partner with project managers to address client challenges and contribute technical expertise to pursuit efforts. Participate in staff recruitment, performance management, and professional development. Requires a Bachelor's degree in engineering and eight years of relevant experience; a PE license is preferred. Flexible or hybrid work options available with occasional site travel.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelors degree in engineering from an accredited program
- At least 8 years of relevant engineering experience
- Ability to meet pre-employment requirements (background check, drug screening, etc.)
Desired Qualifications
- Professional Engineer (PE) license
- Previous consulting engineering experience
- Hands-on experience with wastewater treatment plant upgrades or expansions
- Strong leadership skills with a background in managing multi-discipline teams
