Project Engineering Manager

Job Summary
Develop engineering designs, material specs, and project cost estimates while conducting feasibility studies and economic analysis. Ensure designs meet required standards and codes, validate field work, and create as-built drawings. Manage project execution by directing vendors and contractors, coordinating schedules with plant personnel, and reviewing engineering submissions for accuracy. Define scope of work, prepare proposals, and submit regular reports on project status to management. Monitor installations to ensure they meet specifications and stay within budget, maintaining documentation and vendor contacts. Requires a Bachelor's in Engineering with 5+ years of experience, leadership background, and proficiency in AutoCAD and Microsoft Office. 50% travel required.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree from an accredited four-year college or university in Engineering, or related field
- 5+ years of relevant experience
- 2+ years' experience in a position of leadership to include team development and management
- Ability to apply sound engineering principles to operational and design issues
- Knowledge of installation and construction project scheduling
- Project Management skills

- National codes and standards interpretation skills
- Proficiency in AutoCAD
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office
