Job Summary
Define project scope and engineering deliverables while managing the global time schedule for electrical design activities. Coordinate design teams, including primary and secondary designers, and oversee the design change process to ensure compliance with customer requirements. Lead FATs and SATs, prepare technical specifications for procurement, and validate designs against contract requirements within the project budget. Manage scope changes, prepare related claims, and track return status of project documentation. Support the Project Engineering Director in engineering change management and contribute to multidisciplinary design reviews.
Required Qualifications
- Engineering degree level or equivalent education/experience
- Experience of Engineering activities as lead engineer in EPC type environment
- Successful experience in project technical management in a multi-disciplinary team's context including multiple interfaces and with products coming from several countries
- Knowledge of the Transmission or Distribution industry is essential
- Awareness to local regulations & customer practices in the country of operation is key to the role
- Ability to coordinate multi projects & remote multi-functional teams with clear communication and leadership
