Project Engineering Manager

Job Summary
Lead engineering team to plan and execute capital projects across plant operations, warehouses, and R&D; develop capital cost structures, ensure safety and sanitary guidelines, apply lean principles, and collaborate with cross-functional leaders to deliver on-time, on-budget projects. Responsibilities include designing equipment layouts, improving throughput and cost efficiency, mentoring engineers and production staff, performing capital estimates and savings calculations, and ensuring regulatory compliance. Requires formal engineering degree, strong project management, CAD proficiency, and experience in food manufacturing with a track record of managing multi-million-dollar initiatives.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering
- Minimum 5+ years of total experience in Food Manufacturing (preferred)
- Project management experience (1+ year)
- Proficient in CAD tools and Microsoft Office
- Ability to work weekends/overtime as needed
- Lean and OSHA certifications desired
- Strong leadership, organizational and communication skills
