Job Summary
Lead a team of engineers to interpret, organize, and coordinate engineering tasks for complex mining and metals projects; own the engineering elements of capital estimates; provide technical guidance during proposals and execution; manage design development, feasibility studies, tender evaluations, and construction supervision; foster client relationships and talent development; ensure compliance with quality standards and ES&H.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master’s degree in a relevant engineering field
- 13-15 years of experience or 17-19 years of relevant work experience in engineering/proposal/constructive management
- Experience in design development, feasibility studies, detailed design, proposal development, and construction supervision
- Experience managing design consultants and leading industrial construction projects
- Strong cost management and budgeting skills
- Ability to lead and mentor staff and maintain client relationships
- Proficiency with standard software tools (word processing, spreadsheets, databases) and familiarity with quality standards
- Knowledge of ES&H and project controls
