Job Summary
Project Engineering Management Function Leader responsible for supervising the Project Engineering Management Team (PEMs), coordinating engineering activities across projects, allocating resources, managing design budgets, and ensuring compliance with applicable standards and regulations. Leads design reviews, interfaces with partners and suppliers, and governs subcontracting strategy while driving knowledge capitalization and return on experience to improve engineering efficiency. Requires senior-level expertise in engineering management within EPC-style environments (T&D/Power Gen/Oil & Gas), strong leadership, risk management, and the ability to coordinate across multiple countries and teams. Fluency in English and willingness to travel internationally are expected. The role emphasizes accountability for process control, resource orchestration, and adherence to quality and EHS requirements, with responsibilities including management of design workload, budget, subcontractor evaluation, and interface management across customer requirements and supplier commitments.
Required Qualifications
- Significant experience in Engineering activities in EPC type environment in T&D, Power Gen or Oil & Gas
- Mastering of involved discipline (process, tools, technical aspects)
- Fluent in English
- Strong influencing and relationship building skills
- Experience in project technical management of the discipline in a multi-disciplinary team context
- Willingness to travel worldwide
