Job Summary
Project Engineer will plan and implement IT infrastructure projects for clients in a client-facing MSP environment. Responsibilities include leading end-to-end IT projects (network upgrades, cloud migrations, Office 365 deployments), designing and deploying LAN/WAN networks (routers, switches, firewalls, wireless access points), implementing and administering Microsoft 365 services (Exchange Online, Teams, SharePoint), supporting Windows 10/11 deployments and Windows Server upgrades, configuring and maintaining virtualization, and troubleshooting/escalated issues on-site and remotely. Requires strong networking and Windows/AD/M365 skills, proven MSP experience, ability to communicate with non-technical clients, and willingness to travel locally to client sites. Hybrid work model with frequent local travel to client sites in the Cleveland area; compensation $70,000–$90,000 annually.
Required Qualifications
- 3+ years of hands-on IT systems/network administration or engineering experience
- 2+ years of Managed IT Services experience
- Proven expertise with networking (routing, switching, VPN, firewalls), Windows Server/Active Directory, and Microsoft 365 administration
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to communicate technical information to non-technical clients
- Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel locally to client sites regularly
