Job Summary
Conduct advanced engineering calculations, simulations, stress analysis, and fatigue assessments to validate packer and downhole completion equipment performance under challenging conditions. Lead product development projects from concept through qualification, validation, and field deployment while resolving complex technical issues regarding structural integrity and sealing performance. Drive continuous improvement via root cause analysis, reliability studies, and FMEA activities to ensure compliance with API, ISO, and customer specifications. Collaborate with global cross-functional teams to develop safe, manufacturable solutions and provide technical leadership, mentorship, and troubleshooting support for field operations.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering or related field
- 7+ years of experience in mechanical engineering and product development
- Extensive experience with Well Completion Products and Downhole Tools
- Familiarity with API (11D1, 19AC, 14L, 14A) and related oil & gas standards
- Knowledge of NACE MR0175 / sour service material requirements
- Experience leading complex engineering projects and technical teams
- Proficiency in PTC Creo Parametric (or equivalent 3D CAD), Windchill PLM, and engineering analysis tools
