Job Summary
Design projects of varying disciplines including levee design, water treatment plants, pump stations, and pipelines. Perform hydraulic modeling for potable water systems and flooding analyses. Prepare figures, maps, and graphics using AutoCAD and GIS software. Draft technical reports and memoranda for project documentation. Demonstrate communication skills when collaborating with staff engineers, project managers, and principal engineers. Requires a BS in Civil Engineering, PE registration in California, and 4-7 years of experience in water/wastewater projects. Salary range is $120,000-$140,000.
Required Qualifications
- BS degree in Civil Engineering
- PE Registration in California, or ability to obtain registration within 1 year
- 4-7 years of experience in the civil engineering field, specifically on Water/Wastewater projects
- Experience with GIS, AutoCAD, and Civil3D
Desired Qualifications
- Potable water system design (WTPs, pipelines, pump stations, storage tanks)
- Wastewater/Storm Drain system design (Pipeline and lift stations)
- Water/Wastewater System planning (Master Plans, hydraulic modeling)
