Job Summary
As a Project Engineer for Water/Wastewater, you'll fulfill engineering duties for the design, permitting, and construction administration of treatment facility projects. Your responsibilities include overseeing project design teams, ensuring compliance with codes and client requirements, preparing specifications, and managing project quality control. The ideal candidate will have 4 to 8 years of experience in the industry, hold a B.S. Degree in civil/environmental/chemical engineering, and be proficient in designing and managing multiple projects from inception to completion.
Required Qualifications
- 4 to 8 years’ experience in design and permitting of wastewater treatment plant projects
- NC PE or able to gain PE quickly through reciprocity
- B.S. Degree in civil/environmental/chemical engineering from a recognized, accredited program
- Fundamentally sound, strong in design and value engineering
- Analytically strong problem-solving skills
- Experienced in dealing with regulatory agencies
- Strong management, organization, and communication skills
- Valid driver's license and acceptable motor vehicle record
- Cleared criminal background check and negative drug test result
