Job Summary

Lead engineering projects from concept through implementation, including scope definition, budgeting, scheduling, and execution for ice cream packaging line installs, process improvements, utilities modifications, and civil construction. Review engineering drawings to align with Safety, Quality, Operations, and Maintenance teams before supervising execution. Coordinate cross-functional teams including manufacturing, quality, maintenance, supply chain, and external vendors to design, specify, and implement manufacturing equipment and process improvements. Develop project schedules, risk assessments, and progress reports while supporting continuous improvement initiatives focused on safety, quality, productivity, and cost reduction. Ensure compliance with safety standards and regulatory requirements, create engineering documentation, and troubleshoot production issues to improve reliability and throughput. Track project performance metrics and communicate updates to leadership. Requires 5-7 years of project engineering experience and a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Industrial Engineering.

Required Qualifications

  • 5-7 Years experience in project engineering or related roles
  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or related field
  • Demonstrated experience managing engineering or capital equipment projects
  • Proficiency in project management tools (MS Project, AutoCAD, etc.)
  • Understanding of project management principles, early equipment management, lean manufacturing, etc.
  • Excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment
  • Candidates must be legally authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis without the need for current or future employer sponsorship
