Job Summary
Collaborate with project managers, clients, and construction teams to plan, design, and execute formwork and shoring solutions that meet project requirements. Develop detailed plans and designs using industry-standard software like AutoCAD and Revit to create accurate drawings, models, and calculations. Provide technical expertise to project teams regarding formwork systems, select appropriate materials based on budget and site conditions, and ensure compliance with building codes and safety regulations. Monitor project progress, identify potential risks, and implement corrective actions to keep projects on track. This role reports to the Engineering Manager at Doka USA's Mountain branch in Commerce City, CO. A Bachelor's degree in civil or structural engineering and a Professional Engineer (PE) license are required, with proficiency in CAD and structural analysis tools.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in civil engineering, Structural Engineering, or related field
- Proven experience in formwork and shoring design, preferably in the construction industry
- Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD), structural analysis tools, and project management software
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
- Professional Engineer (PE) license
- External candidates must be authorized to work for any employer in the USA
