Project Engineer (Tunnel)

Job Summary
Lead design, development, modification, evaluation, and constructability reviews of civil/structural tunnel components; review and approve key design documents, supplier drawings, material specifications, and change orders; design structures using static and dynamic analyses and determine appropriate use of steel, wood, masonry, and concrete to meet load requirements; originate and check complex civil/structural deliverables such as steel and concrete calculations and material requisitions; develop conceptual designs for projects with unique requirements; prepare discipline estimates and work plans aligned with scope, schedule, and budget; interpret new regulations and codes; mentor civil/structural personnel and lead constructability reviews; travel as required to client, supplier facilities, or on-site locations.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree (or international equivalent) in Civil/Structural Engineering
- 10-13 years of relevant experience or 14-17 years of relevant work experience per posting
- Proven work experience in design and construction of tunnels on engineering projects
- Familiarity with Eurocodes and current design standards
- Ability to independently execute detailed design drawings of tunnels
- Proficient with Microsoft 365 applications
- Professional Engineering Registration or Chartership
- Willingness to travel to client/supplier facilities or site as required
