Job Summary
Support small to medium SpX projects from intake through execution readiness, ensuring timelines, risks, ownership, and deliverables are clearly defined. Work cross-functionally with Packaging Engineering, Channel, Customer Supply Chain, Manufacturing, and suppliers to validate build requirements and support production readiness. Assist with SpX kit setup, including item structures, work definitions, packaging inputs, and production documentation. Develop and maintain project plans, trackers, and action logs to support cost, schedule, quality, and execution targets. Monitor project progress, communicate status clearly, and escalate risks early with context and recommended next steps. Drive clarity when direction is unclear by aligning stakeholders and documenting decisions.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor of Science Degree in Engineering or related technical field
- Ability to operate in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment with multiple priorities and shifting inputs
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage several active projects, details, and follow-ups at the same time
- Comfort working across teams, asking questions, influencing without direct authority, and driving alignment when responsibilities are shared across functions
- Strong communication skills, including the ability to provide concise updates, document decisions, and escalate issues with clear recommendations
- Self-starter mindset with strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and willingness to learn Milwaukee products, systems, and operating processes
- Ability to identify potential risks, resource constraints, or execution gaps before they become late-stage issues
Desired Qualifications
- Entry-level to early-career engineering experience
- Internal candidates with strong execution discipline, business curiosity, and demonstrated ownership
- Foundational understanding of manufacturing, packaging, supply chain, item setup, or project management processes
- Experience with Oracle, Power BI, SharePoint, Excel, CAD, or similar systems
